A round of updates to the Pro Apps for January. All three video applications get bug fixes and one very important change of behaviour in Final Cut Pro X 10.3.2.Great to see Apple following up quite quickly on the last update with a series of bug fixes for the Pro Apps.Final Cut Pro X gets updated to 10.3.2.
You will notice the change of behaviour when using delete on a range of audio in the Primary storyline. The update reverts back to the 10.2.3 way where it would extract this part of the audio rather than just mute it. You see - Apple do listen to their customers! Also the improved handling of long projects will be good news for those editors who have noticed a significant drop in performance when moving clips in large projects. (Early reports suggest a significant performance boost.)We should also note here that Compressor has been fixed to allow the correct export of ProRes 4444 files with alpha - Something we know was driving a few graphic artists nuts!
